About

To our knowledge, the property has been run on and off as a B & B for a number of years.  It was first known as Cimarron House, more recently it was called the Elk Ridge Lodge, which also explains the large elk in our front courtyard.  The property has always been very well-maintained and we have freshened it up and with some light renovations to the property and will be continuously working to enhance the guest experience.

The Blue Dragonfly Inn is a unique B&B where you won't find four poster beds, lace doilies, or tea and crumpets.  You will, however, experience all of the creature comforts of home including snuggling in comfortable beds and pillows, waking up to the scent of home cooked breakfasts, and enjoying the hospitality of your hosts.

48 hours notice required to cancel a reservation.

Check-out : 11am

Early arrival? Please make arrangements with the Innkeeper accordingly. If your room won’t be ready by the time you arrive, we are happy to store your belongings and you may enjoy our common areas or continue with your plans.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.  

We reserve the right to cancel a booking for violating our smoking policy or for disturbing the peace and comfort of other guests.

Blue Dragonfly Inn is a non-smoking property.  There is no smoking allowed anywhere at any time on our property for the comfort of all our guests.

We do not allow pets.

In the interest of keeping the Inn a peaceful and relaxing experience for all guests, we do not typically allow children under 12 years of age. Sometimes we do make exceptions, but arrangements must be made prior to your reservation. You know your children better than anyone. If you wouldn’t want to room down the hall from them, then please don’t bring them here. Contact the Innkeeper if you have questions/concerns.

Feel free to wander all over our property but do watch out for paddle cactus if you veer off the track.  You may also walk through the neighborhood and explore, just please be respectful of no trespassing signs.

We want all of our guests to feel at home when they stay with us.  Do not hesitate to tell us how we can make your stay more enjoyable or comfortable.

We offer price breaks for three night and weekly stays as well as special family or “book the entire inn” rates.  We can comfortably accommodate 8-10 guests.
